As you may have already seen, fellow Märklinist Ian Campbell has set up a meeting for us to meet in a pub and run trains together. The October meeting of the Märklin Insider Stammtisch UK will be part of this on Saturday, October 9th 2021.

The venue will be The Sun pub in Felmersham near Bedford:

The meeting will take place on the weekend of October 9th and 10th with setup on the Friday evening before (October 8th). For further details and to sign up for the event, please get in touch with Ian directly as he is heading the organization of the weekend event.

The topic for the October Stammtisch will be High Speed Trains. Prominent examples are the German ICE trains, the French TGVs, the Pan-European Eurostar, the Austrian Railjet and many more. So bring your favourite High Speed Train to run (and maybe more)!

For our newcomers a quick note, you are of course not required to bring trains for the monthly topic, you can bring whatever trains you like.

I will be providing Märklin C-Track and a Märklin Central Station 2 as well as an analogue controller to run older Märklin models (if anyone would like to bring some) and some folding tables for the track oval.

I will also be bringing my tools, so if anyone needs a hand with a faulty locomotive, I’ll be happy to help.
